How GILD Works: From First Demo to a Live, Booked Calendar
7 min read
The full engagement in plain terms — the 25-minute walkthrough, the build around your real menu, the try-on and concierge go-live, and what happens month to month after launch.
Step 1 — The walkthrough
Everything starts with a 25-minute demo built around your studio. Bring your service menu, your pricing, and your booking tool of choice. You'll see your own services rendered in the virtual try-on — not a canned demo with someone else's brand.
This is also where we scope the engagement honestly: which plan fits (GILD Core or GILD Managed), which add-ons are actually worth it for your services, and what is explicitly out of scope. The scope boundaries are published in the knowledge base so there are no surprises later.
Step 2 — The build
Once you activate, the build is menu-first. Your services, pricing, and brand styling are configured into the try-on experience, and the booking handoff is wired to the scheduler you already use — whether that's an existing calendar link or a GHL-powered booking flow.
Because GILD adds a consultation layer rather than replacing your stack, the build doesn't touch your POS, your client records, or your team's existing workflow. Most studios are reviewing a working preview of their own experience within the first activation period.
Step 3 — Go live
At launch, the try-on is embedded in your site and linked from wherever clients find you — social profiles, QR leave-behinds, email campaigns, or ads. A client opens it, previews the service on their own photo, and lands in your booking flow already decided.
For services that need intake or consent, the client's selected look travels with the booking, so your team sees exactly what was previewed and approved before the appointment.
Step 4 — Month to month
After launch, GILD Core keeps the experience running and current; GILD Managed adds a hands-on concierge that handles ongoing updates, seasonal promotions, and refinements to the menu and booking flow for you.
Either way, the same loop keeps working: clients preview, commit, book, and arrive decided — and you can measure it, because every booking CTA and QR campaign is tracked back to its source.
