Knowledge Base
GILD service terms.
Written to be read. Serving NC, SC & GA. Last updated September 2026.
The agreement
- GILD is provided by Edge Intel to beauty and grooming businesses in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
- Service begins on the activation date and continues month to month unless a plan states an initial commitment.
- Everything included in a plan is listed on the pricing page. Anything not listed is an add-on or a separate quote.
Billing and activation
- Activation is a one-time fee, billed at signing, that covers setup, configuration, knowledge ingestion, and launch.
- Monthly fees are billed in advance on the same calendar day each month.
- Add-ons are billed with the monthly plan and prorated on the month they are added.
- Overage — conversations, locations, or seats beyond plan limits — is billed at the published add-on rate, never silently.
- Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes.
Trial
- The 14-day trial gives access to the launch agents on a single location with a capped conversation volume.
- No activation fee is charged during the trial.
- If you do not continue, your workspace is deactivated and your data is exported on request within 30 days.
Founding Member terms
- Limited to the first 10 qualified businesses or a firm closing date, whichever comes first.
- The rate is protected for 12 months from activation, not for life.
- A three-month initial commitment applies.
- Structured feedback and onboarding participation are expected.
- Case-study participation happens only with explicit written permission.
- Founding pricing does not stack with any other discount or promotion.
Changes and cancellation
- You may upgrade at any time; the new rate applies from the next billing date.
- Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, with 30 days' written notice.
- Activation fees are non-refundable once configuration work has started.
- Founding Members may cancel after the three-month commitment on the same 30-day notice.
What each side is responsible for
- GILD keeps the agents running, the knowledge current within the agreed cadence, and reporting delivered on schedule.
- You provide accurate business information, approved brand assets, service and pricing details, and a named point of contact.
- Approvals requested from you — copy, offers, publishing — pause the clock on the related deliverable until returned.
- You are responsible for the legal accuracy of claims, prices, and offers you ask GILD to publish on your behalf.
Data and privacy
- Client data captured through GILD belongs to you and is exported on request.
- GILD processes data only to deliver the service and never sells it.
- Messaging follows carrier and platform rules: consent is captured at opt-in and every SMS honors STOP.
- See the Privacy Policy for the full detail on retention, processors, and requests.
Fair use and limits
- Conversation, location, seat, and workflow limits are the fair-use boundaries of each plan.
- GILD may pause automated sending if usage risks carrier compliance or platform suspension, and will tell you why.
- No guarantee of ranking, booking volume, revenue, or any specific commercial outcome is made or implied.
- Third-party platforms — calendars, payments, messaging, social — are governed by their own terms and availability.
